The Des Moines Heritage Trust is a nonprofit organization created to save historic buildings in the Des Moines metro area. Many buildings in the community are currently endangered due to neglect or redevelopment. There is a need for an organization to rescue these undervalued historic sites.

Our Vision – The Des Moines Heritage Trust intends to become the vehicle for the redevelopment of historic properties through a combination of establishing a trust fund and use of leveraged assets.
